Description
The Flex is a portable, easy folding, a fully electric wheelchair that has a weight capacity of 180kg. The Flex is the new re-vived version of the all-time favourite E-Traveller 180. It now comes with lockable, easily removable battery packs that can also double as a power-bank while travelling. Further, the seat cushion is now slightly higher in profile and features a moulded top for additional comfort and better posture control.
Just like all electric wheelchairs in our E-Traveller range, the Flex folds simply and quickly. In order to fold the chair, a mechanism at the back can be pulled to allow the chair to fold into a neat, pram sized package, making it perfect for transport by car, train, sea or air.
Similar to our other electric wheelchairs, the Flex is controlled using a joystick that can be fitted to either the left or right side to suit any user. The joystick is fully programmable, which means that we can easily customise the top speed, take-off and slow-down speed of the E-Traveller180 Flex.
The backrest and seat are tension adjustable and the seat pad itself is contoured, helping to relieve pressure in the areas of the body that become sore most often.
Using two lightweight 12v lithium batteries permitted for flights and cruise ships, this travel chair is the perfect companion for any trip domestic or international. The lightweight, compact frame makes loading into a cab easy and offers maximum transportability and flexibility. If side transfers are the best way for you to access your wheelchair, the armrests on the Flex lift and can be locked back into place once down again. With solid puncture proof tyres, 8-degree slope climbing ability and larger rear tyres, perfect for outdoor use, this chair can go almost anywhere.
