Description
The Jay J2 Deep Contour Wheelchair Cushion is a high-performance cushion designed for people at extremely high risk of skin breakdown. It features a pre-contoured foam base with a 3D JAY Flow Fluid Tri-Pad, which provides superior pressure and shear relief. The deep contour of the base helps to distribute weight evenly and reduce pressure on the ischial tuberosities (sitting bones), while the fluid tripad conforms to the individual’s shape and moves with them to prevent shearing forces.
The JAY J2 Deep Contour Wheelchair Cushion is also designed to provide stability and positioning. The anatomically designed base promotes pelvic stability and helps to prevent the pelvis from tipping forward or backward. The longer seat well narrows toward the rear to accommodate various pelvic positions while providing stability.
