What is assistive technology?
Assistive technology (AT) is any equipment or device that helps a person do everyday things more easily and safely, from a walking frame or shower chair to a communication device or switch. Read more: what is assistive technology?
Is the AT Finder an assessment?
No. The AT Finder is a general guide to help you explore the types of equipment that could help. For complex needs, higher-risk equipment or NDIS funding, an occupational therapist, physiotherapist or speech pathologist can assess and recommend the right equipment.
Can I try equipment before I buy?
Yes. You can try before you buy, hire equipment in Adelaide, or visit our Hindmarsh showroom.
Can I use NDIS or aged care funding?
NovitaTech is an NDIS registered provider. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can choose Pay using NDIS Funds at checkout. Many items can also be funded through aged care (Support at Home). How to pay with the NDIS.
