Helio C2 carbon fibre folding wheelchair
The Helio C2 is an ultra lightweight folding wheelchair with a T700 carbon fibre frame. Its Ultrarigid Folding System and symmetrical cross-brace are designed to give the stiffness of a rigid chair, so more of each push moves you forward, while still folding for the car.

The APEX is Motion Composites’ rigid carbon fibre chair for active users. A cantilever frame helps absorb shocks and vibrations, and a rigidising bar adds stability without losing responsive handling.

MOVE lightweight aluminium wheelchair

Helio KIDS paediatric carbon fibre wheelchair
The Helio KIDS brings the Helio’s carbon fibre frame to children. It’s light for kids to push and for parents to lift, and it’s designed to grow with your child.

The Helio C2 has a transport weight from 4.3 kg, and the APEX is from 4.4 kg. In its lightest configuration, the APEX is 7.8 kg and the Helio C2 is 8.8 kg.
Should I choose a folding or rigid wheelchair?
Rigid chairs like the APEX are usually lighter and more responsive, and are often preferred by very active users. Folding chairs like the Helio C2 and MOVE fold for storage and transport. Your therapist and our seating team can help you decide what suits your lifestyle.
Is there a Motion Composites wheelchair for children?
Yes. The Helio KIDS is a carbon fibre folding wheelchair for children, with seat depth that can grow by up to 3 inches.
