NIDS payment options
Eligibility
- Twelve months of either bundle is under $1,500, so both are Low Cost AT: no quote, no NDIA pre-approval, no AT assessment
- Add-ons like captioning can push past $1,500, which makes it Mid Cost AT and needs an AT assessor’s letter
Codes
- 03_222100911_0124_1_1 Low Cost AT, Communication or Cognitive Support. Category 3 Consumables (Core), reg group0124. No price limit: notional $1.00/unit,so a $1,122 invoice is 1,122 units
- Where funding already sits in Capital AT group 0124, bill the monthly service as 05_222100115_0124_1_2
Process
- Self-managed: pay the invoice, claim it in myplace
- Plan-managed: send the invoice on. The item number is printed on it
- NDIA-managed: needs a registered provider and a service booking. Call us first
Evidance
- Not required at this price. If queried, a short OT or speech note settles it: the barrier, how CareWindow helps, the plan goal
- Not an excluded item: single-purpose device, no app store. The monthly fee buys the AT service, not a telco plan
Support at Home – AT-HM scheme, aged care assessed
