Try a Jabbla communication device before you decide. We offer trials of the Allora 3, Vibe 10, Vibe 12+, Tellus 6 and Tellus i6 anywhere in Australia, with support from our AAC team.
Why trial a Jabbla device?
A communication device is a big decision. Trying it first helps you, your family and your speech pathologist see how a device works in everyday life, and gives you evidence for an NDIS or other funding application.
We offer Jabbla trials nationwide. We send the trial device to you anywhere in Australia, and a trial can run for up to a few weeks. Shipping costs apply. If you’re in Adelaide, you can also compare devices side by side in our Hindmarsh showroom.

Availability changes as trial devices come and go. We’ll confirm when you book.
How a Jabbla trial works
- Request a trial. Book online, call (08) 8424 6160 or email us. Tell us which device you’d like to try, and include your speech pathologist’s details if you have one.
- We talk with you. Our AAC team contacts you to understand your communication goals, access needs and where the device will be used.
- Set-up. We prepare the device with Mind Express 5 and a suitable page set, and show you and your supports how it works.
- Delivery. We send the device to you anywhere in Australia (shipping costs apply), or you can collect it from our Hindmarsh showroom.
- Try it. Use the device at home, school, work or in the community for up to a few weeks. Your speech pathologist can use the trial for their assessment.
- Return. When the trial ends, send the device back to us or drop it back to our Hindmarsh showroom. We’ll explain how when you book.
- Next steps. If it’s the right fit, we can prepare a quote for you or your funder.

Is there a cost?
We charge shipping costs for Jabbla trials. We’ll confirm the cost when you book.
How long is a Jabbla trial?
Up to a few weeks. Learning a communication device takes time, so a longer trial gives you and your speech pathologist a real picture of how it works day to day. We’ll agree the trial length with you when you book.
Where can I trial a device?
Anywhere in Australia. We send Jabbla trial devices nationwide, so you can try one at home, school, work or in the community. In Adelaide, you can also visit our showroom at 31 Manton Street, Hindmarsh.
Do I need a speech pathologist?
You can request a trial yourself. For NDIS funding of a communication device, a speech pathologist’s assessment and recommendation is usually needed, and a trial helps them gather the evidence.
