Udaption Mounting Systems
German-made wheelchair, floor and table mounts that hold AAC devices, tablets and switches exactly where they're needed. Available from NovitaTech Adelaide, with delivery Australia-wide.
Put the device where it works best
A communication device only helps if it’s in reach and in view. Udaption mounting systems position AAC devices, tablets and switches securely on a wheelchair, beside a bed or on a table, and adjust as needs change. Every mount uses tool-free clamping levers, and most finish in Udaption’s UDA quick-fit device adapter, so one device can move between a wheelchair mount, a floor stand and a table clamp.
Wheelchair mounts
Keep a device in front of the user all day, and swing it aside for transfers.
Floor stands
Rolling stands for use in bed, in a recliner, or beside a wheelchair.
Wheelchair mounts
Wheelchair mounts attach to the frame with a separate frame clamp. Choose a mount below, then add the frame clamp that suits your chair.

Not sure which clamp fits? Send us the wheelchair make and model, and a photo of where the mount will go.
Floor stands
For when there’s no wheelchair or table to mount on. The U- and V-Stands roll under beds and recliners, and every floor stand is available with an optional J-tube for extra reach.
Table mounts
Stands and clamps for tablets, AAC devices and switches at a desk, table or bench.
UDA or PIN?
UDA is Udaption’s universal device adapter. A plate fitted to your device slides into the UDA, so the device can be taken off and refitted easily and moved between mounts. It’s best for AAC devices and tablets.
PIN is a simple 10mm pin connection for lighter items such as switch holders and accessories.
Fitting your device
Your device connects to the mount with a device plate that matches its mounting holes. Plates are available for Jabbla devices and most other AAC devices and tablets. We’ll confirm the right plate when you order. See also our Jabbla accessories and Jabbla AAC devices.
Funding
Mounting systems for AAC devices can often be funded through the NDIS as assistive technology, usually alongside the communication device. Our team can prepare a quote for your plan manager, support coordinator or therapist.
Set-up and advice
Getting a mount right depends on the device, the seating and the user’s access method. Talk to us before ordering, and we recommend a therapist or our team checks the set-up before use, particularly on a wheelchair.
