Description
The Arjo Sara Plus is a powered sit-to-stand aid designed for active standing transfers, and for balance, stepping and gait training. It is designed to be operated by a single carer, and suits residential care, hospital and home settings.
Key features
- Arc rest: part of the lifting mechanism, supporting the user’s arms and upper body as they rise
- Pro-active knee pad: gives support and stability while allowing natural forward knee movement and ankle flexion
- Detachable footplate: remove it for stepping and gait training with feet on the floor
- Dual controls: on the mast and on the hand control, so the carer can stay close and keep eye contact
- Optional built-in scale to weigh the user and monitor weight-bearing
- Emergency stop, and automatic safety cut-out if lowered onto an obstacle
- Low-friction castors, with brakes on the rear two
