Description
How do you get someone’s attention if you can’t call out? How do you show you’re raising your hand on purpose because you want to talk? The ‘Something to Say’ communication wristbands give people who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) a simple, visible way to start a conversation.
How they work
Whether you use a PODD book, Proloquo2Go on an iPad or another AAC system, raise the arm wearing the band to tell people you “have something to say” and need your communication system.
Parents, teachers, carers and therapists can wear a band too, and model raising it when they have something to say. It’s a great way to teach initiating communication.

Nice and bright, very exciting to have these. A little disappointed at how quickly the printed text is wearing off, however.
