Support at Home
If you’ve been assessed for Support at Home, you may be eligible for funding through the Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) scheme. We can work with your Support at Home provider and your occupational therapist to supply and install what you need. Read our guide to funding AT through Support at Home.
Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
CHSP can help with some equipment and minor home modifications. Talk to your CHSP provider about what’s available.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an assessment to buy equipment?
Not if you’re paying privately. If you’d like to use Support at Home funding, you’ll need an aged care assessment through My Aged Care, and some items need advice or a prescription from a health professional such as an occupational therapist.
Can you install grab rails and ramps?
Yes. We supply and install minor home modifications such as grab rails and ramps, and project manage larger jobs like bathroom modifications with licensed builders.
Can I hire equipment instead of buying it?
Yes. Equipment hire is a good option after a hospital stay, while you wait for funding, or to try something before you buy.
Do you visit people at home?
Yes. We offer free product trials at home and in the community across South Australia, and our repair technicians work from mobile workshops.
